Joining the veterans PT group has been a great help in the journey of transitioning from a soldier to a civilian, I feel I lost my way physically and had become lazy and being able to join in fitness training with persons from a similar background has been a huge motivation to get myself moving again. The group has been very welcoming not just to me but also to my family. And it is brilliant to workout alongside them. Everyone is very friendly and inclusive. Thank you for the opportunity to join the group.

Raw Performance CIC, with the generous support of the Veterans Foundation, has established a vital lifeline for veterans and their families in Port Talbot and Bridgend. Our twice-weekly Tactical Fitness sessions are more than just workouts; they're a catalyst for physical, mental, and social well-being.

The supportive environment, led by veterans who understand the unique challenges of military life, fosters a sense of community and belonging among participants. By connecting with fellow veterans, participants combat feelings of isolation and build lasting friendships.

Our ex-military instructors bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to each session. Their disciplined approach, attention to detail, and ability to motivate and inspire create a truly unique and transformative training experience.

The sessions that Raw Performance are putting on at The Bulldogs have been amazing so far. The partnership we have formed has meant that we are able to refer into each other’s organisation to offer a better service to Veterans and their families. We have seen an increase of 19 new Veterans who didn’t know about us, wanting to come to the drop in and utilise our other services, and Veterans that we already engage with to offer them something more in the evenings. We will keep working together closely within the project to ensure we can offer the best service to Veterans and their families.
